What are K9 Kampus PUBLIC Doggie Fun Events?
K9 Kampus Public events are open for everyone to enjoy!
You do not have to be an active K9 Kampus client. Unlike attending daycare or boarding our weekend events are available to the public (including current K9 Kampus clients). You and your dog can enjoy Lure Chase, Pool Play and our indoor & outdoor parks.
Below are some answers to some frequently asked questions.
Do you have to be a client of K9 Kampus?
No. You do not have to be a client of K9 Kampus to participate in our weekend events open to the public.
Do I have to stay with my Dog?
Yes. You must be with your dog and in control of your dog at all times. Unlike Daycare and boarding where you leave your dog in the care of K9 Kampus, our Public events are for you to enjoy with your dog.
Do I have to be registered in your computer system?
Yes, every person and dog that enters our premises must be in our computer system and up to date vaccinations records for Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella but be received on Veterinarian letterhead.
Unlike some dog parks we monitor every dog that enters the facility and we hold each parent accountable for their dogs’ behavior, therefore we must have up to date information on every person & dog that enters the facility.

You can bring your vaccination records with you or fax them ahead of time. If you decide to fax them please call ahead of time to make sure we have received them. Please note that without proof of vaccinations no dog may enter the premises. We appreciate your understanding for our strict policy to ensure your dog and all the dogs in our care are in a safe and healthy environment.
Which Vaccinations are required?
K9 Kampus requires Rabies, Distemper/Parve & Bordetella. All vaccinations must be on Veterinarian letterhead (your last receipt will usually have all the information on it that we require). Please be advised that we DO NOT accept breeder, self administered or titer vaccinations.
Do you have Breed Restrictions?
Yes. Unfortunately our insurance company does not allow us to have full-
The only exception to this rule is for our Public Lure Chase because all dogs must be maintained on a leash, only one dog is on the Lure Chase Course at a time and the Pit Bull will not be entering any off leash area.

Will I have to sign any contracts?
Anyone participating in our Public events whether you are a current client or just attending our public events will have to sign a Events Agreement Waiver. It only has to be signed once (unless any changes have been added to the agreement) and it will be entered into our system.
A facility Contract only has to be signed if you decide you want to participate in our Daycare and Boarding services.
Can we bring Food or Drinks with us to the event?
Em. K9 Kampus will allow a bottle of water to enter the facility as long as it is in it’s original packaging. No coolers, thermos bottles, etc can be brought in. This is to ensure the health and safety of all the animals on our premises.
No food is allowed to be brought onto the premises. You can bring dog treats for your dog only provided they are secured on your personal self. This is to ensure no dogs eat anything they may be allergic to.
K9 Kampus has beverages for purchase and there is always water available for the dogs.
Can we bring chairs or blankets?
Chairs and blankets can be used outside of the Lure Chase course but cannot be brought into any of the off-

Parking
Parking for Lure Chase is behind the Lure Chase Course on Circle Avenue. Turn down Shull and take a left onto Circle Avenue. You can park on the grass behind the fence.
Please Note: That we are still renovating our outdoor are so parking is limited directly behind the fence for the time being. You can park on the street or in the parking lot behind the K9 Kampus building.
Please DO NOT park in the front parking lot for Lure Chase. We do not allow entrance into the Lure Course via the front entrance unless you are currently participating park play or pool play. If you are only participating in Lure please park on Circle Avenue.
Notes:
- Shade: K9 Kampus is in the process of making arrangement for our shade structures to be installed. Please be advised there is limited shade available at this time.
- Outdoor Play Area: Since opening our outdoor playground in October we have found our sod did not last long with all the dogs playing on it. We are in the process of making arrangements for our Artificial K9 Grass to be installed. Unfortunately right now there is more dirt than grass on our playground.
