All K9 Kampus training classes are held in the comfort of our indoor facility (with the exception of our tracking class). You will enjoy class in our climate controlled environment without the worry of the heat, humidity, rain, mud or bugs! Never worry about getting rained out, or your dog getting dirty or muddy and say good bye to the mosquitos when the sun goes down because you will be inside away from all the discomforts a Florida evening.

Puppy Kindergarten is a wonderful mix of training, socialization, and is a wonderful
resource to questions regarding puppy raising. We cover all the basics and more.

In this 8 week group environment class you will learn how to be the leader of your “pack”. You will learn leadership skills, how to meet the needs of your dog while maintaining your leadership in the “pack” and the basic obedience skills including sit/stay, down/stay, recall, and walking without pulling on the leash. The first week of class is orientation/questions/answer session. The first week is without your dog so you can concentrate on the material presented. The last class is graduation.

Conformation
These classes are for preparation to show in the Conformation/Breed Ring. The work “conformation” means the showing of dogs that conform to the standard of their breed set forth by the AKC. We work on handling skills and working in a Competition Ring setting. This class is good for young dogs and also for new handlers on ring etiquette and showing your dog.

Our Basic Agility classes are held with a maximum of 8 participants to ensure everyone receives a lot of equipment time. Our Agility classes are 6 weeks long, meeting once a week for 1 hour. K9 Kampus breaks down basic agility into three separate classes: 1. Jumps & Tunnels, 2. Contacts, 3. Weaves. We offer these classes with overlapping schedules so if you wanted to do more than one class at a time it is available to you.

Does your dog have a great sniffer? Does he love to find things? Then a tracking class would be great for you to both take part in. The is the only class that K9 Kampus offers that is not performed in our indoor facility. Sean Harnage is a police officer and trainer of this fun class. You will be amazed at your dogs natural instinct to track and locate in this class.

Jump! Spin! Shake! and Roll!
Is a fun class to do with your dog that is an excellent bonding experience too!
This new class is geared towards the dog owner who wants to explore some new ways to have fun and build their relationship with their canine friend. Basic obedience skills will be a prerequisite. The class will combine learning the skills to teach your dog simple and intermediate tricks using the methods of internationally known trick show performer and trainer Kyra Sundance as well as fun games that are based on the dog’s natural instincts and drives.
